RESEARCH SEEKS TO VERIFY ASTROLOGY USING PHOTOGRAPHS

A research project on the web (www.astrofaces.com) seeks to verify Astrology using photographs to highlight the similarities between people who share the same Sun, Moon and Ascendant signs.

Astrofaces.com has been collecting photos since January 1998. The photographs are labeled with the astrological Sun, Moon and Rising Sign of the subjects. The web site displays the photos sorted and grouped by these labels.

People are invited to view the photos, read the abstract and participate in the research with their photo and birth data. The photos are mounted anonymously unless an email or web site link is requested.

The researcher is seeking affiliation with a university, hospital or police department to develop the study with facial recognition software analysis. The study has identified several potential practical applications including the education of children in large schools, perinatal reconstructive surgery, facial recognition software and police sketch artists' work.
