What information do we need to prepare your demonstration?
First, please remember that prejudices hold back progress and have never contributed to the discovery of any solutions for problems. The scientific method is to test for verification, not to say "nonsense" or "pooh pooh". We can promise that you will be gratified with the results and the benefits for your students.
We simply require that you send us a list of all your students' birthdates.
Please be accurate. Remember "GIGO". ("Garbage In, Garbage Out").
- Prepare a list of all your students.
For each student include a unique identifier and their birthdata: birthdate, birthtime & location.
- Anything you use for an identifier is acceptable if it does not confuse the records of two students and if you will recognize each student when you receive our report so that you can group them accordingly. Please keep in mind that we do not need to know anything else about your students in order to help your school. You do not need to send any other information. Your students' privacy is protected.
- It is important to list the students' birth data as completely and accurately as possible. It's preferable to have it shown on their birth certificate. If a birthdate is unknown please note this with the word "unknown". If a birth time is only approximately known, please note this with the word "approx". If a birth time is not available, enter "unknown". We can still show you remarkable results. You can use any consistent date format. In the email or in the first line of the list, specify the date format used: mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy. It is important to ensure consistency of the date format throughout the list.
- Format the list as an ASCII text file with one row for each student.
Here is a sample of a field-length delimited file.
| (student identifier) | (mm/dd/yyyy) | (24hh:mm) | (location) |
| JF41 | 10/09/1993 | 01:00 approx | Leicester UK |
| TR51 | 02/23/1997 | 23:10 | Mumbai India |
| JB72 | 05/15/1998 | 03:45 | Edo Japan |
| MJ87 | 12/06/1993 | unknown | Lyons France |
| DL65 | 01/12/1994 | 18:36 | Ft Lauderdale Florida |
We can work with lists formatted as "quote delimited" or "comma delimited" or "field length". The example above is "field length". (it is organized in columns with defined widths). Prepare your list as an uncompressed ASCII text file. (Don't compress the file. Your compressed files may not open on our systems).
- Send your school data and student list via this form:
- Your demonstration report will arrive within three weeks.
Within two to three weeks after you send your list, you will receive a report which outlines several sample groups for you to assemble and evaluate at your own pace. The students in each group will be similar or compatible with regard to important psychological traits. The groups will conform to your normal class size if you let us know the average size of your classes.
- Assemble the classes.
Assemble the classes as defined by the reports. It is preferable that you not tell the teachers anything about the grouping system so that their reports will not be swayed by expectations and you will have their candid impressions. All work is strictly confidential. Remember, you will send us only a unique identifier and birthdata for each student in your school. The teachers need not make any changes at all.
- Contact Us.
When you see and hear the results from the teachers and students, contact us. We are interested to have your impressions and evaluations.
